Starting with 2000 the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority and in collaboration with „George Georgescu” Art High school from Tulcea launched the International creativity competition with the ecological theme “A CHANCE FOR THE BLUE DANUBE”. The meeting point of these messages can't be other then Tulcea, Romania, the terminus point of the Danube river, where Danube meets the Black Sea, giving birth to the most fascinating place from Europe – Danube Delta.

The purpose of this creativity competition dedicated to saving the nature through art is to maintain the interest and raise awareness of the people, especially of the young generation on preserving the natural ecosystems.
